Maldin is an amazing guide – he has eagle eyes and can see everything!! We would have missed so much of what Tabin has to offer without him. He found the male orangutan for us! Wow we will be back soon for sure. We had so much fun that we added an extra night and maybe we will have to sleep on the streets in Lahad Datu. HA! Everyone are so kind here.

What can one say we saw a big male orangutan put on a show in the 1st 10 mins of arrival. Then 5 more orangutans later. A huge python on the night drive, estimated 13 – 15 meters long. Many more native animals. Busy schedule, great food, thank you to Stephen our guide.

Saw pygmy squirrel, pig-tailed monkey, orang utan, clouded leopard, leopard cat, flying squirrel, on the first day! Also saw pig and hornbills. Very friendly staff, can’t wait to see more animals.

Its my 38th B’day todat and what a place to wake up in. Tabin is beautiful and precious and should remain so forever. The forest is the lung of the planet, to lose it would be to choke and die. We don’t have the right to destroy such a marvelous creation. Thank you Tabin staff.
